WHAT IS HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis, also known as Hypnotherapy is a state of deep relaxation, focus, and concentration.
The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) defines Hypnosis as "An altered state of consciousness where the subconscious level of the mind is in a state of hyper-suggestibility."
The client becomes highly responsive to suggestions.
My personal thoughts about Hypnosis: At first the thought of being "Hypnotized" made me nervous, a little anxious and scared. The thought of losing control, being forced to act in ridiculous ways, and my thoughts being not my own.
I look back now and think, "wow, I watched way too much tv!"
Hypnosis helped me relax, find myself, focus, and concentrate. I realized I couldn't be controlled, I was fully aware of my surroundings and my thoughts stayed my own (your subconscious will only accept suggestions by your beliefs.
So, no a Certified Hypnotist cannot make you dance like a chicken (unless you really want to)!
If Hypnosis is something you want to try (for whatever reason), contact me personally. I will take you through the entire process step by step.
I hope this helps.
